We love providing programs for campers, but it takes a lot of hands to make that work! Volunteer opportunities are listed below. Caution: Serving at camp has a way of getting into your bloodstream. Be prepared to feel the tug to come back again and again and again.
SUMMER INTERN OPPORTUNITIES
(Clicking on each title will reveal detailed information.)
Summer Staff Interns
Young adults (ages 16-22) have an opportunity to participate in the internship program for either 5 or 10 weeks. 1st half interns serve from Wednesday, June 12th - Saturday, July 13th. 2nd half interns serve from Saturday, July 13th - Sunday, August 11th. Full Summer interns serve from Wednesday, June 12th - Sunday, August 11th.
In addition to work training, group leadership training, and developing a heart of service, our interns work hard to keep the day-to-day camp programs running smoothly. They work on projects such as carpentry, mowing the lawns, preparing and serving meals, housekeeping, painting, roofing, or organizing group games for kids during family camps. Most also serve as lifeguards on the waterfront or as ropes course instructors. It is a unique experience that can help to shape the life of a servant forever, as lasting character and lifelong friendships are built. Please prayerfully consider if God may want you to serve at UPBC in this way.
If you're interested in serving next summer, email summerinterns@upbiblecamp.org after January 1st to request an internship application. Summer Staff internship applications and references will be accepted between January 1st and January 31st, 2024. If accepted, interns must register for the UPBC Summer Staff internship training.
