My husband Bryce and I were married in 1997 and are lifelong attendees of Upper Peninsula Bible Camp - we even met here as teenagers! We have three adult children, Ryan, Cavan, and Megan, each of whom have grown in their involvement with various UPBC programs. Becoming empty nesters, we relocated to the Upper Peninsula from the Chicagoland area to serve in various roles at camp to a greater degree.
Kitchen Manager
I am so excited and immensely humbled to transition into the Kitchen Manager position at Upper Peninsula Bible Camp! UPBC has always held such a sweet spot in my heart and for a long time I have been asking the Lord where He would want me to serve in a greater capacity. I’ve always loved cooking for others, and despite my last name, baking doesn’t come naturally to me! It has been a blessing to serve alongside and be mentored by Susie Van Ryn the last several years, and each summer the Lord has confirmed my gift of hospitality through my love of cooking. It is my heart’s desire to continue the legacy of seeking out cheerful volunteers to humbly serve God in the UPBC kitchens. May each camper eating a meal at UPBC feel loved and cared for through the hearts and hands of Jesus’ people.

This is why we prefer to receive checks (or bill-pay) over online donations, as making online donations via credit card results in processing fees. However, we get it!
