ADVENTURE CHALLENGE

The Combat Matt Challenge Courses have been operational since 2002. Participants have the opportunity to challenge themselves physically and mentally as they learn to trust the safety equipment, their belay partners on the ground, and themselves. Campers also learn spiritual lessons about letting go of control, overcoming fears, getting out of comfort zones, and the relationship between faith and action.

The High Ropes

The high ropes course offers 12 elements on 2 different levels. The first level, with platforms at 15 feet, is challenging enough for some. For the more daring, the second level platforms are 30 feet high.

The Tower

Climbing Tower

Climbing Tower

This 40-foot climbing tower has provided challenges for beginners as well as experienced climbers from ages 5 to 70. Don't think you'll be able to make it all the way to the top? That's OK, give it a shot anyway. Think the tower looks too easy? Our skilled staff will find a way to challenge you!

The Zip Line

Added to the course in 2009, the zip line is a ton of fun for all ages! The taller platform offers side-by-side zipping so 2 people can go at once. The shorter zip line include a small starting slide for youngsters.

Team Initiatives

Also known as "low ropes," these initiatives are designed to encourage groups of people to work together and overcome obstacles. The lessons focus on teamwork, communication, problem solving, trust, and more. UPBC has several portable—as well as permanently installed—initiatives that bring exciting challenges to each group.
